Role Description The Warranty Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bakersfield, CA, responsible for managing warranty claims and related documentation for RV sales and service. This role includes reviewing warranty coverage, opening and tracking claims with manufacturers and warranty providers, and ensuring all required documentation, photos, and service records are accurate and complete. The Warranty Coordinator will communicate with service advisors, technicians, warranty companies and parts teams to provide timely updates, resolve issues, and support a smooth repair process. The position involves coordinating approvals, following up on claim status, verifying payments, and maintaining organized records to support quality assurance and customer satisfaction. This role is compensated on an hourly basis plus commission, with opportunities to contribute to a positive customer experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and follow-though skills, with a focus on Customer Satisfaction
- Knowledge of Warranty processes and practices, including claim submission, coverage verification, and documentation requirements is desired, but will train the right candidate.
- Attention to detail and commitment to Quality Assurance in maintaining accurate records, verifying approvals, and ensuring compliance with warranty guidelines.
- Previous experience in automotive, RV, powersports, or related service environments is preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency with computers and office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, dealer or service management systems).
- Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple cases at once, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced service department.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or business coursework is a plus.
