Royal City Tours is hiring immediately!
We are currently seeking an energetic Tour Guide & Driver who speaks English and Italian to join our team. This is an immediate opening, and we are looking for someone available to start as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Italian language REQUIRED
- Must speak English
- Must live in New Jersey
- Must be comfortable safely driving a 15-passenger van
- Comfortable driving in New York City and on highways
- Available for day trips to Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.
- Friendly, outgoing, dependable, and professional
- Comfortable speaking to groups and providing tour commentary
- Able to walk for extended periods during tours
- Interest in history, sightseeing, and travel
- Spanish, French, German, or other languages are a plus
What You’ll Do
- Guide visitors throughout New York City and surrounding destinations
- Drive a 15-passenger van safely and professionally
- Provide engaging information about attractions, history, and local landmarks
- Assist guests and answer questions throughout the tour
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and punctual attitude
This is not just a driving position. The primary responsibility is providing guests with an informative, engaging, and enjoyable tour experience while also safely operating the vehicle.
