Duties

- Conduct repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and optimize facility processes.
- Execute welding tasks for structural repairs or fabrication projects with precision and safety awareness.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with residential painting projects to enhance property aesthetics and maintain high standards of appearance.
- Manage facilities maintenance requests using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedules, and inventory.
- Supervise or assist with small team projects, demonstrating leadership qualities and ensuring tasks are completed safely and on time.
- Support manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment uptime, ensuring safety compliance, and improving process efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly while maintaining professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles within residential or manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiar with schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Ability to operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) effectively within automation systems.
- Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to perform structural repairs confidently.
- Experience reading schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management is preferred.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus for property upkeep projects.
- Supervising or leadership experience demonstrating the ability to guide teams safely and efficiently is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.
