This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Engineer - Custom Cabinetry / Millwork at Royal Cabinet Company, Inc., located in Hillsborough, NJ. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and designing custom cabinetry and architectural millwork. Daily tasks include collaborating with clients and team members to create product designs, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to draft detailed plans, and overseeing the engineering process to ensure precision and quality. The role also includes mechanical and electrical engineering responsibilities to support product functionality and innovation.
- Design Engineering and Product Design skills
- Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
