Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in a designated region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in driving sales growth, business development, and account management, with a proven track record in B2B sales.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and increase market share within the assigned region.
- Conduct regular territory management activities, including lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales efforts to identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through effective account management and customer service.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for informed decision-making.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Help shape the future of the business through strategic planning, talent development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implements sales policies and ensures communication of new products or services, product variations and changes and sales promotions.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights to senior management.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and updates on market conditions.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment in objectives and messaging.
- Provides direction and guidance for advertising, sales promotions and product trainings.
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote the company’s products and services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales - technical sales preferred.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales performance.
- Demonstrated ability in lead generation, territory sales management, and account management.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
