Job Summary:

The Carpenter must be skilled in drywall, painting, trim carpentry, and light framing; any other skills a plus. Incumbent must be a positive and dependable worker, willing to learn and follow company policies, procedures, practices, and complete all tasks assigned in a timely and professional manner.

• Successful prior track record as a Carpenter/ Handyman skilled in drywall, painting, trim carpentry, and light framing
• Own standard set of tools to perform all the above trades
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Current and valid drivers license with reliable transportation to drive between work sites
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to pass a Background and MVR Check

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, owners and vendors
• Strength in prioritizing, organizing and executing tasks
• Work independently with little supervision
• Stay on task with multiple competing priorities
• Work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
• Must be fluent in English (written and verbal), bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years carpenter experience, in a construction environment preferred
• Valid Drivers License

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to climb ladders
• Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Walking or standing without rest periods up to 2.5 hours
• Repeated bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, climbing, digging, shoveling, sweeping
