Vehicle Service Technician (part-time weekends only)

As a Vehicle Service Technician at Royal Ambulance, you play a vital behind-the-scenes role in ensuring our ambulances and equipment are ready to serve the community. You will be responsible for making sure every vehicle is mission ready: clean, stocked, and safe, so that our field crews can focus on delivering high-quality care.

What You'll Do

• Prepare ambulances for service by cleaning and restocking vehicles according to county and operational guidelines
• Check and test medical equipment for functionality and readiness
• Maintain and organize the stockroom, ensuring supplies are clean, accessible, and well-labeled
• Fill oxygen tanks, refuel ambulances, and ensure fleet vehicles are maintained to CHP standards
• Complete vehicle checkout procedures and submit reports for any needed repairs
• Support daily operations with logistics tasks and occasional errands
• Keep the Bay area clean and organized, both inside and out
• Collaborate with the Communications Center and Operations team to ensure smooth crew deployment
• Uphold Royal’s standards of excellence in professionalism, quality, and teamwork

What We’re Looking For

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Clear and proactive communicator
• Reliable team player with a service-oriented mindset
• Basic understanding of vehicle systems or mechanical knowledge a plus
