Roya is seeking a polished, experienced, and hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager to help lead our team and support the daily operations of our upscale Persian restaurant. Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in leading daily restaurant operations with professionalism and consistency.
- Champion an elevated guest experience rooted in genuine hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail.
- Help build and maintain a strong team culture centered on accountability, respect, communication, and pride in service.
- Lead pre-shift meetings, floor service, and daily service execution with confidence and clarity.
- Support beverage operations, including quality control, vendor relationships, product knowledge, and service standards.
- Assist in the development and training of staff to ensure a consistent and refined guest experience.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support to help team members grow and succeed.
- Maintain smooth communication between front of house, kitchen, management, and ownership.
- Help oversee labor, scheduling, and operational decisions to support efficiency and profitability.
- Assist with reservations, guest relations, table touches, service recovery, and private dining or event support.
- Monitor standards for cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the dining room and service areas.
- Support ordering, inventory awareness, and cost-conscious beverage and service execution.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, evaluations, and ongoing team development.
- Help manage administrative systems, reporting, and day-to-day operational follow-through.
- Step in wherever needed to ensure the restaurant operates with excellence, consistency, and care.
Qualifications
- 4 years of management experience in upscale hospitality.
- Strong understanding of elevated service, team leadership, and guest experience.
- Beverage knowledge and interest in wine, cocktails, and service standards.
- Proven ability to build positive team culture and lead by example.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
