Position Summary
The Therapist at Roya Health provides comprehensive behavioral health services to clients, including individual, group, and family therapy. This role involves assessing clients’ mental health needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to support emotional and psychological well-being. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Offer crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
- Educate clients and families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.
- Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines governing therapy services.
- Participate in clinical supervision, clinical oversight, case consultations, and professional development activities.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the behavioral health team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Licensed or license-eligible in Arizona as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy in a behavioral health setting.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR).
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Work Environment
- This position is based in a clinical setting at Roya Health, with the potential for telehealth services.
- May require occasional travel for community-based services or home visits.
- Some evening or weekend hours may be required to accommodate client needs.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
