Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs using excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
- Assist in stocking shelves, organizing products, and managing inventory levels through regular stock checks
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, guiding product selections, and resolving issues promptly
- Support store supervision by supervising team members during shifts when needed and ensuring smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base
- Experience in supervising or leading a team is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product presentation strategies
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks associated with stocking and organizing products
