For nearly 60 years, Roy's Sewer Service has proudly served Marin and Sonoma counties with professional drain cleaning, sewer inspection, septic, and commercial services. Since 1968, we've built our reputation on prompt, reliable service and exceptional customer care. We are looking for an organized, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher and help keep our operations running smoothly.
Position Summary
As the Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and the communication hub for our field technicians. This position requires excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask while managing daily scheduling and office operations.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer phone calls with professionalism and empathy
- Schedule service appointments and enter work orders accurately
- Dispatch technicians and coordinate daily routes and workflow
- Monitor technician progress and adjust schedules as needed
- Communicate with customers regarding appointment status and updates
- Manage paperwork, service records, and job documentation
- Process invoices and assist with general office administration
- Maintain accurate customer information in company software
- Support the team with other administrative and office duties as needed
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Previous dispatching, customer service, or office administration experience is preferred but not required
- Experience in the plumbing, sewer, construction, or service industry is a plus
