Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system (Toast) ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment
- Manage reservations and guest seating using OpenTable or similar reservation systems to optimize table turnover
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to multitask efficiently with strong time management skills in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols in the food industry
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members for seamless service delivery
