Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits.
- Manage POS system (Toast) for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales recording.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end.
- Assist with food service and prep when needed, including serving food at banquets or catering events or during service ensuring timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary to keep the bar fully equipped during busy hours.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems (Toast) for seamless sales transactions.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume service periods.
- Excellent customer service abilities to create a welcoming environment for diverse clientele.
- Experience in bartending and/or banquet settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order totaling.
