What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Technician I position at Roy Metal Finishing?
PRIMARY DUTIES:
* Responsible for Facility appearance at all times.
* Responsible for removing all cobwebs and dust in the Facility.
* Responsible for cleaning and painting of all guard rails and hand rails.
* Responsible for cleaning and painting of all process pipes per color codes.
* Responsible for cleaning and painting of all process equipment.
* Responsible for cleaning of ventilation ducts.
* Participates in housekeeping/5S activities including Boiler Room and Mezzanine Areas.
* Responsible for inventory and storage of paint and painting equipment.
OTHER: (e.g. authorizations, authority to issue directives, information rights):
* Flexible schedule for equipment availability is required.
* Filling in for Production as needed to meet customer demand.
* Filling in in Paint Room on Powder Coat machine.
* Tank maintenance as needed.
* Understands proper use of man lifts and fork trucks.
* Understands RMF Safety procedures for confined space entry, chemical handling, lockout/tagout, and fall protection
Salary : $22 - $27
