Position Summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking full-time Welder, to travel and perform various welding actives on the highway and brides in the Bexar and San Antonio, Texas area. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to Welding and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to Welding and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.
Required Experience:
- Certifications required
Clean driving record is essential
Must pass criminal background check
Qualifications:
Must pass criminal background check
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
- Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
- Carry out simple arithmetic functions
- Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
- Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
- Ability to use smart phone and applications
- Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate hand/power tools
- Must be able to work on call, several times a year
- Some travel may be requested - per diem provided
- Must be able to use own vehicle and own equipment
- Mileage paid for travel outside Bexar and San Antonio area
- CDL a plus
- On call bases
Schedule:
On call bases with a 4 hour minimum per shift, Must be able to work weather events such as snow, ice, and floods.
