Front of House - Crew Member

We're seeking a Front of House Team Member to join our team in a a fast-paced Hawaiian spot serving up delicious food with a side of aloha. • We're currently hiring team members who can work weekdays as needed, and who are FULLY available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• If this does not fit your availability, this is not the right fit for us at this time.
• Earn between $5 and $12 per hour in tips on top of your base pay!
• Starting BASE pay will be $16.30 per hour.
• Tips start after your 7th completed shift.
• The average total wage, with tips, is between $21 and $26 per hour.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a warm, welcoming attitude and assist with their orders. Provide top notch service to ensure a positive experience.
• Accurately take orders from customers, process payments (cash/credit), and handle all transactions efficiently.
• Ensure that orders are prepared correctly, organized, and delivered promptly. Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure accuracy.
• Keep front-of-house areas tidy, including the counter, Lobby floors, Tables, Sauce Stations and seating area. Ensure all areas are clean and safe for customers.
• Be familiar with the menu, including daily specials and ingredients, to answer customer questions and provide recommendations.
• Work with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth, efficient operations. Step in to help wherever needed during busy times.
• Address customer questions or concerns in a positive, professional manner, ensuring a great experience for all guests.

Qualifications:

• Friendly, approachable, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in food service, is a plus.
• Strong verbal communication skills to interact clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Enthusiastic and motivated, with a “can-do” attitude and a willingness to help where needed.
• Comfortable working in a busy setting, staying calm and focused under pressure.
• Open to working days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Comfortable using a register, handling cash, and making change accurately.
• Knowledge of basic food safety procedures and cleanliness standards is a plus, but we’ll train the right person!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
