Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas in accordance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions confidently, process payments accurately, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
- Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential!
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
