Position Purpose
As a part-time Pet Care Specialist, you’ll make a difference every day by:
- Greeting and helping customers with warm, solution-focused service.
- Learning and sharing product knowledge (nutrition, chews, toys, enrichment).
- Assisting with purchases, special orders, and loyalty program questions.
- Keeping the store clean, stocked, and organized.
- Safely making local deliveries for online and phone orders using company vehicles.
- Helping with customer carry-outs and loading purchases when needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles for deliveries.
- Passion for pets and people.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Dependable and team-oriented.
- Retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet during shifts.
- Part-time role with flexible scheduling.
- Competitive pay: $13-15/hr.
