Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Roxbury is currently hiring a full-time Professional Coder and Medical Records Clerk. This is a Monday thru Friday position.

Job Duties and Responsbilities:

• Chart assembly, chart analysism coding.
• Computer abstracting of all discharged patient medical records
• Responds to patients in crisis and acts accordingly
• Retrieving charts from the floor
• Putting them together
• Checking for missing signature
• Handling loose filings

Certified Professional Coder Requirements:

• Registered Health Information technician certification or Certified Professional Coder certification or equivalent is REQUIRED
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, with one year of coding and/or medical records experience preferred.
• Experience with 3M encoder, Excel and MS4 are a plus
