Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Boston, MA, for the Vice President of Institutional Advancement. The Vice President will lead fundraising efforts, including planned giving, annual campaigns, alumni relations, and philanthropic partnerships. Responsibilities include overseeing donor cultivation, managing strategic advancement initiatives, directing prospect research, and fostering relationships to support the College's mission. The role also involves managing a team, collaborating with external stakeholders, and creating comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet institutional goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Planned Giving and Annual Giving programs
  • Strong skills in Alumni Relations and cultivating donor relationships
  • Expertise in Philanthropy and the ability to build strategic fundraising initiatives
  • Proficiency in conducting Prospect Research to identify and prioritize opportunities
  • Leadership experience managing teams and working with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to secure significant donations and partnerships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • A commitment to the mission of community colleges and student success
