What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Manager position at Roxborough Memorial Hospital?
The Public Safety / Security Manager will assist the Director of Plant Operations by supervising and directing the operation of the Security Department. Will provide day-to-day supervision and management of the Security staff. Will ensure that all requirements, regulations and documentation involving the security department is completed. The Public Safety/Security Manager will secure and protect the patients, visitors, staff, building, and property. Will investigate and submit reports on assaults, thefts, damage to personal and facility property, and all related security issues. Assists the staff in the handling of combative persons and situations. Will maintain communication with the local law enforcement agencies.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. High School diploma or equivalent required
5. Police or military service experience, Sergeant or higher, or 5 years' healthcare security management experience required.
2. Two year college degree preferred.
