What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Technologist / Medical Technician position at Roxborough Memorial Hospital?
The Med Tech must possess a degree of skill commensurate with their level of education, training or experience and technical abilities, performing procedures including collection, processing and analysis, and reporting of patient test results; identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance and either correcting or reporting the issue; perform and document maintenance; daily, weekly, monthly, or as needed on instruments and equipment as appropriate; review of patient results for accuracy, and other duties related to Lab.
Education and Work Experience
ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Science required.
Minimum of 2 years of Hospital Laboratory experience with Bachelor's Degree, Minimum of 3 years of Hospital Laboratory experience with an Associate's Degree.
