Job Summary:

Roxana Family Home Care is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are passionate about helping others. Compensation & Benefits:
$22–$25 per hour (depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications). All employees are entitled to paid sick leave, overtime pay, and rest breaks in accordance with San Francisco labor ordinances. Additional benefits are listed below.
Key Responsibilities:
● Provide one-on-one care and companionship in accordance with individualized care plans
● Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and hygiene
● Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and ensure proper hydration and nutrition
● Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment
● Assist with toileting and incontinence care
● Assist with bandage care and ordering medical supplies (dependent on service plan)
● Support mobility, including transferring and positioning clients
● Monitor and document client condition; report changes promptly to the care team
● Assist with medication reminders in accordance with care plans and regulations
● Assist with inventory reports and supplies
● Coordinate with Case Managers, families, and healthcare providers
● Schedule and accompany clients to appointments (as needed)
● Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records
● Uphold all company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
● Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Qualifications & Requirements:
● Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
● Minimum of 1 year of caregiving or related experience preferred
● Compassionate, dependable, and respectful with strong communication skills
● Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently (additional languages a plus: Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, etc.)
● CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
● Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs
● Valid California ID or Driver’s License
● Reliable transportation (car or access to public transit such as BART)
● Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and work authorization verification

Work-Life Balance & Flexible Schedules:
We offer truly flexible scheduling to support your work-life balance, with a variety of shift options to fit your needs:
● Manage your own schedule from 4hrs, 8hrs, 12hrs shifts
● Weekday, Weekend, and Overnight shifts available (Part-Time & Full-Time positions)
● Overtime pay for eligible hours, as required by San Francisco law
