Job Purpose:
- The Assistant Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant. They ensure compliance and company standards are maintained, as well as direct staff to ensure that guests have a great dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proper operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Executing steps of service to provide excellent guest experiences.
- Creating and managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Maintaining food quality standards to deliver consistent and delicious meals.
- Enforcing health and food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Recruiting, hiring, and training new employees to build a strong team.
- Monitoring employee performance and providing feedback for improvement.
- Coaching and developing staff to enhance their skills and career growth.
- Handling guest complaints and resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Enforcing company policies and procedures to maintain a consistent and compliant work environment.
- Managing money handling procedures, including cash management and reconciliation.
- Conducting inventory counts, ordering supplies, and performing inventory reconciliation.
- Performing other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the restaurant.

Qualifications:Required Education:
- High School diploma or GED
- Foodservice Management Certification
Required Experience:
- 2-4 years leadership experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Microsoft Office proficiency
Preferred Experience:
- 2-4 years leadership experience in a full-service restaurant setting
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
