Overview
We are seeking an experienced High-End Residential Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage luxury residential projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction site experience, strong management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of high-end residential building processes. Duties
- Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and blueprints.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software.
- Monitor project progress, quality control, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and budget adherence throughout each phase.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets design specifications, schematics, and quality standards.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and daily reports.
- Oversee safety protocols on-site, ensuring OSHA compliance and promoting a safe working environment.
- Utilize construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid for budgeting accuracy and resource planning.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide construction activities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues using tools like ohmmeters when necessary to ensure electrical systems meet specifications.
- Supervise subcontractors and labor crews, providing guidance on work sequencing and quality expectations.
- Manage client communication regarding project updates, scheduling changes, and quality assurance.
Experience
- Proven management experience supervising high-end residential construction projects with a focus on luxury homes.
- Extensive hands-on construction site experience with a strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and industry best practices.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Construction management software platforms.
- Strong background in project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Supervising experience leading diverse teams of tradespeople and subcontractors in complex residential environments.
- Familiarity with pipeline management processes for large-scale or multi-phase projects is a plus.
