Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our outdoor property maintenance and landscaping division. In this role, you will oversee the property maintenance for several commercial properties such as Whataburger. Weekly mowing, weed eating and irrigation checks are a few of the main objectives we focus on each week. We ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications and safety standards. Your leadership will drive team performance, coordinate project activities, and maintain the aesthetic and functional integrity of outdoor spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage multiple construction projects while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including lawn care, landscape maintenance, irrigation, planting, hardscape installation, and grounds upkeep.
• Lead and manage crews effectively, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Oversee irrigation systems , repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal water efficiency across projects.
• Identify various plants, trees, and horticultural elements to ensure proper care and placement within landscapes.
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including company vehicles, mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools.
• Manage project timelines, materials procurement, and quality control to ensure timely completion of outdoor projects.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to develop landscape designs that align with project goals and environmental considerations.

Skills

• Extensive outdoor work experience with a strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and hardscape installation.
• Proven supervising experience with excellent team management skills; capable of leading crews effectively in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of irrigation management systems and experience in irrigation installation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to identify various plants, trees, and horticultural elements accurately; strong grounds maintenance skills.
• Construction experience related to projects; familiarity with landscape architecture principles is a plus.
• Skilled in operating landscaping equipment safely; experience with grounds maintenance tools is essential.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and uphold safety standards at all times.
