Job Summary
This individual will be responsible for the full operational and financial performance for the Colorado branch of RowCal, which is based in both Denver and Colorado Springs, tasked with achieving business objectives and driving growth. A Branch President will deliver exceptional customer service, maintain high client and staff retention rates, and deliver robust organic growth via ancillary revenue initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Interviews, hires, and trains staff in the L&D department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the L&D department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees and in accordance with company policy.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop instructional material, including classroom learning, self-study material, e-learning, team-builders, and on-the-job-learning.
- Oversees and facilitates a variety of learning programs.
- Establish best practices, content development guidelines, and on-going oversight of development deliverables to ensure high quality learning.
- Define metrics and data to assess and monitor the effectiveness of offerings to ensure programs are relevant to the needs of the organization.
- Monitor and solicit feedback on all learning programs to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness of impact experience.
- Identify learning needs, recommending and implementing solutions, and evaluating and measuring effectiveness.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of a comprehensive learning strategy ensuring strategic alignment of learning and development with business goals.
- Collaborate with People team members and business leaders to understand their needs related to learning and development by proactively interfacing with key stakeholders to understand, recommend and deploy effective solutions.
- Conduct assessments and analyze data to define performance, skill and knowledge gaps, and recommend learning and development to drive individual and company-wide capability and performance improvement.
- Partner with the People team to recommend and develop employee engagement programs and activities that enhance employment experience.
- Design and develop programs and curriculum, partner with departmental leaders, internal subject matter experts, and/or external vendors to achieve defined learning, learning and development objectives.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for learning and development interventions and development programs.
- Establish and maintain individual and organizational performance evaluation methods for learning content, delivery, activities, engagement and outcomes.
- Utilize metrics to validate knowledge transfer and return on investment.
- Implement an LMS and build training content for multiple functions from the ground up.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Learning or Instructional Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development.
- Minimum 8 – 10 years of work experience in Learning and Development field.
- Strong strategic thinking skills including the ability to impart or exchange information as a means of connecting people or places for the enhancement of business outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills that enact team building through a diplomatic, inclusive leadership style which values both the uniqueness and commonalities in team members openness to diverse input and facilitation of dialogue to produce best results.
- Capable of changing coaching and leadership approaches to meet the needs of diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Must be comfortable in leading rapid and substantial change, conflict management, and ambiguity.
- Previous experience implementing an LMS across multiple functions within an organization.
- Experience in creating learning programs with on-site, hybrid, and remote employees.
- Outstanding written and presentation skills.
- Project management experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work on a computer and stare at a monitor screen for long periods of time.
- Ability to drive to and from a several locations on occasions.
Pay Range
The estimated starting pay range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 per year. This good faith estimate is based upon RowCal's typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends on many factors including each employee's qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
