Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
- Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed throughout the kitchen.
- Assist in managing banquet services and special events as needed.
- Monitor food presentation and quality to maintain restaurant standards.
Skills
