What are the responsibilities and job description for the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Acute Care Physician Assistant (PA-C) position at Rowan Diagnostic Clinic, PA?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage critically ill patients in ICU or specialty units
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide discharge planning and follow-up care
- Nurse Practitioner/Physician's Assistant - Critical Care Nights Only (7p-7a)
- Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Supervised by board certified intensivists
- Tele-ICU support available as well
- Implement infection control measures and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
Experience:
- ICU experience and procedures as APP or RN preferred but not mandatory

Requirements:
