Digital Learning Coach/Public Relations
· Work with district and school leaders to develop and implement digital learning visions and goals.
· Coordinate, create, and deliver customized, job-embedded professional learning for educators on technology integration.
· Provide direct coaching, modeling, and feedback to teachers on using digital tools, platforms, and strategies.
· Help teachers design and implement technology-infused, content-based lessons that enhance student learning.
· Assist in selecting, evaluating, and implementing effective instructional technologies.
· Support schools in implementing digital citizenship curriculum for both students and teachers.
· Stay informed about current and emerging digital tools and research-based best practices in technology integration.
· Build educators' confidence and skills in effectively using technology.
· Ensure technology enhances rigor, relevance, and engagement in learning experiences.
· Support the implementation of digital learning standards (like ISTE standards) within the curriculum.
· Promote a school-wide culture that embraces learning and innovation with technology.
· Prepare Students and Teachers for implementation of the profile of a learner.
· Equip students with essential digital skills needed in a technology-driven world.
· Communications and marketing support for schools, offices, and departments
· Media relations and crisis communications support for schools and Rowan County leaders
· Mass communications and external messaging for families and key stakeholders, including text or phone notifications or districtwide announcements
· Style guidelines for public communications and high-level projects
· Branding and communications guidelines
· Student and staff recognition
· Social media, including the district's Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter feeds
· Website maintenance, including content and editing on the district site and the district app, and support for school webmasters
