Job Title: GIS Analyst II Job #1065-1 Application Dates: Open Until Filled Salary Range/Pay Rate: $60,100 to $66,100 (commensurate with experience) Excellent benefits package available.
The County is currently accepting applications for the position of GIS Analyst II. This position requires performs advanced technical and analytical work in the development, implementation, and management of the county’s Geographic Information System (GIS). This role focuses on supporting and enhancing enterprise GIS solutions, integrating data from diverse sources, and conducting complex spatial and non-spatial analyses to inform decision-making: including but not limited to; supporting the GIS Manager in maintaining and optimizing enterprise GIS databases—including SDE, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other relevant platforms—as well as ArcGIS Online (AGOL).

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Requires extensive knowledge of GIS technologies, with a strong emphasis on ESRI software and tools such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related applications; proficient in both non-spatial and spatial data analysis, geoprocessing workflows, and data visualization techniques; skilled in GIS data standards, metadata management, and best practices for ensuring data quality and integrity; and capable of designing, maintaining, and optimizing GIS databases and web-based mapping solutions.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Planning, or related field; an Associate’s Degree in GIS, Geography, Planning, or related field and two years of experience in automated mapping, geographic information systems, or database administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. GISP certification preferred. All degrees/coursework must be from an appropriately accredited institution. A valid driver’s license is required.
