Overview:
Rowan Center for Behavioral Medicine is seeking Registered Psychological Associates to join our behavioral medicine practice through a hybrid in-person and telehealth model. This position is ideal for clinicians seeking high-quality postdoctoral training with an emphasis on health and rehabilitation psychology within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Services: Provide psychotherapy to clients presenting with concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, stress management, relationship issues, and phase-of-life transitions
- Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver individualized, evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs
- Individual Supervision (Required): Participate in weekly individual supervision (virtual), in accordance with California Board of Psychology requirements.
- Group Supervision (Required): Participate in weekly group supervision (virtual), including didactics, case consultation, and case presentations
- Evidence-Based Practice: Utilize empirically supported treatments to promote client well-being and symptom reduction
- Health & Rehabilitation Focus (Preferred): Provide services related to chronic pain, chronic illness, medical conditions, disability, and adjustment-related concerns
- Documentation: Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential client documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and professional standards
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams as needed to support comprehensive client care
- Treatment Planning: Develop and update individualized treatment plans and regularly assess clinical progress
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and professional growth in behavioral medicine, health psychology, and related areas
Location:

Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Psy.D or Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology
- Current registration as a Psychological Associate in California
- Graduation from an APA-accredited doctoral program
- Commitment to a minimum of 15 client sessions per week
- Ability to provide both in-person and telehealth services

- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Designed specifically for behavioral health practices, includes patient portal, clinical measures (both patient and clinician facing, psychometrically validated measures with an interface showing clinical and statistically meaningful cut-offs and references), documentation templates, integrated billing, and more.
- Intake Coordinators: All new patients are screened by our intake coordinators and fit into your schedule based on your clinical specialties.
