Events Manager - Row 34

Row 34 is looking for an Events Manager to lead our private events program and help shape unforgettable guest experiences across our five restaurant locations. This is a hands-on, in-person leadership role for someone who thrives on hospitality, thinks in detail, and knows how to turn a great event into a lasting relationship.

About the Role

The Events Manager works hand-in-hand with the Director of Events as well as each restaurant team to hit revenue goals, build guest relationships, and deliver seamless private events to Row 34 standards. You'll split your time between administrative planning, hands-on event production, and staff training — making sure our management and hourly teams are set up to deliver every time. When events are in motion, you're in service leading the charge, and you'll also work some restaurant floor shifts across our locations to stay connected to the guest experience.

This is a 5-day-a-week role that includes weekend availability, with a schedule that flexes between office work, event execution, and training days, reviewed and confirmed with the Director of Events based on restaurant needs.

What You'll Do

• Respond to event leads in Tripleseat and manage the full booking process — from BEOs to billing to weekly BEO meetings with restaurant teams

• Confirm that every event is detailed to the guest's wishes and executed flawlessly at each location

• Help train new management and service team hires on event production protocol, and provide ongoing coaching to existing teams

• Serve as an ambassador for the Row 34 experience, building trust across BOH, FOH, and Global leadership

• Stay current on event industry trends and contribute to training guides and systems that make life easier for teams and guests alike

• Keep an eye on event equipment inventory and flag needs to the Director of Events

Who We're Looking For

Someone with:

• 2 years of hands-on experience managing restaurant or hospitality events

• A genuine interest in making events management a long-term career

• Experience managing events from initial inquiry through execution and follow-up, including client communication, proposals, contracts, deposits, timelines, event details, and day-of execution

• Strong sales and business acumen

• Strong technology skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems. Familiarity with Tripleseat and OpenTable is a plus

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, restaurant teams, and leadership

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, clients, and moving pieces without losing sight of the guest experience

• A natural leader who leads by example and is willing to jump in wherever needed, whether that means troubleshooting an event on the floor, resetting a space, helping a team member, or solving a last-minute problem

• Comfortable balancing strategic and administrative work with hands-on event execution. This is a hospitality role, and flexibility around evenings, weekends, and event schedules is expected

• Confident handling challenges and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Professional, polished, and personable, with the judgment to represent Row 34 well with clients and partners at every stage of the event process

Compensation & Benefits

Salary is competitive $75,000-$90,000, plus an industry-leading comprehensive benefits package including:
