Front Desk Receptionist – Outpatient Mental Health Agency
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable front desk receptionistto join our growing outpatient mental health agency. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting daily administrative operations.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong multitasking abilities, and maintains a welcoming, professional demeanor at all times. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the front office.
The hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays 9:00 AM-5:00 PM ;Wednesdays and Thursdays: One of these days will be 9:00 AM -5:00 PM and the other will be 11:00 AM-7:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Handle clerical duties such as filing, scanning, shredding and photocopying documents.
- Assist with office management tasks to ensure a well-functioning workspace.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
- Provide customer support by addressing client questions and concerns promptly.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in clerical duties and office procedures.
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist of at least 5 years. Experience in the mental health field not required, but a plus.
- Familiarity with data entry processes and office management software.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and staff.
- Ability to handle a fast paced environment.
