Are you a dynamic Group Fitness Coach with a knack for driving electrifying, music-powered workouts? We need your expertise in using glute bands, fitness balls, dumbbells, and rowing to lead participants through invigorating full-body sessions that sculpt the legs, tone the arms, strengthen the core, and lift the glutes!
Row House is a rowing inspired fitness boutique that strives to give people of all fitness levels a low impact full-body workout. It distinguishes itself from other group fitness concepts built on insecurity and competition by creating an environment that raises everyone up so they come together, rowing on the same rhythm, with the same flow and energy. Rowing has long been recognized by serious athletes as one of the most effective forms of full-body exercise and Row House's workout stays true to form. Our fitness program offers an energetic, endorphin-boosting workout in a safe, inspiring, and inclusive environment.
Duties
- Lead engaging group fitness classes (20 /- clients) by delivering pre-designed workouts and your own innovative sessions, consistently energizing and motivating participants.
- Drive class growth and client retention through proactive outreach, including cultivating a strong social media presence to expand class following.
- Actively participate in staff meetings and educational sessions to enhance skills and contribute to team success.
- Support studio operations by assisting the Front Desk and General Manager with tours and sales initiatives as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized fitness environment.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to cultivate a high-energy, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere for individuals of all fitness levels.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills with a genuine passion for connecting with people and supporting their fitness journeys.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging and enjoyable class experiences that foster member retention and enthusiasm.
- Nationally recognized personal training or group fitness certification (NASM, ACE, AFAA, etc.).
- Valid CPR/AED certification (in-person) must be maintained throughout employment.
- Degree in Kinesiology, Nutrition, Exercise Science, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong musicality is a huge plus.
- Passion for rowing is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $33.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week
