Job Overview
Rover Stay Over in Lynden, WA is a family-owned and operated dog daycare and boarding resort. We are currently hiring Kennel Attendants.
We are passionate about providing the highest quality care for dogs of all breeds. Whether you’re working hands-on with the dogs or greeting clients at the front desk, each role is essential to ensuring that every dog is safe, happy, and cared for like family.
Current Openings
Kennel Attendant
- Provide food and water to boarding dogs
- Keep accurate records of feedings, medications, and behavior
- Clean and disinfect kennels, play areas, and equipment
- Organize and label belongings of dogs
- This is often the starting point for employees who wish to grow into Dog Daycare Specialist positions

Qualifications (All Roles)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive, can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual with dependable transportation
- True affection for dogs of all breeds and ages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly
- Weekend and holiday availability required
Hours & Schedule
This is not a seasonal or short-term position. We are looking for dog lovers who want to be part of our team for the long term.
- Internship and after-school-only schedules are not available
- Employees must also be available to work major holidays, including 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
- Preferred candidates will have flexible, open availability and be available to work weekends.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $17.13/hr minimum, DOE
- Job Type: Part-time and Full-time available
- Rover Stay Over complies with Washington State Paid Sick Leave laws
- Employee perks include: free dog daycare while on shift, half-off daycare when not on shift, half-off boarding services, and discounts on bathing services
