We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager based in Kansas City, MO and covering the entire state of Missouri to lead and develop our sales team. This role is critical in driving revenue growth, acquiring new accounts, ensuring CRM usage, and maintaining high standards of visual merchandising across our retail partners.
As a Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our sales team and the face of our brand to our valued customers and strategic partners. By leading and mentoring a team of Account Executives, Account Managers, and Brand Ambassadors, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, securing new accounts, and maximizing revenue growth in the fast-growing Missouri cannabis market.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue and account growth goals.
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales plans to increase market share and revenue.
Performance Monitoring: Set and track sales KPIs, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure targets are met.
Revenue & Account Growth: Ensure the team consistently achieves quarterly revenue targets and new account acquisition goals.
Training & Development: Oversee onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development for the sales team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with company initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management: Support key account relationships and ensure long-term client retention.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
3-5 years of sales leadership experience in cannabis, CPG, or a highly regulated industry.
Proven ability to lead and develop sales teams to achieve revenue and account growth targets.
Strong understanding of CRM software (Salesforce, etc.) and sales pipeline management.
Experience in visual merchandising and ensuring in-store brand consistency.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed. Able to work independently and have strong follow-through.
Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle to travel to customers on a daily basis.
Physical Requirements:
Light to moderate lifting (up to 25-75lbs); heavier weights with assistance.
Working at a fast pace, subject to many interruptions and both physical and mental demands.
