A Mobile Engineer (React Native) at Rove will be a product-driven builder, primarily responsible for developing and owning our iOS and Android mobile applications. This role involves designing seamless travel booking, rewards earning, and miles redemption experiences while working closely with backend systems, payments infrastructure, and loyalty integrations. A strong emphasis is placed on performance, security, and crafting a premium consumer-grade user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the development and maintenance of Rove’s React Native mobile applications across iOS and Android.
- Architect scalable mobile infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and clean state management.
- Build intuitive booking, search, wallet, and rewards experiences that simplify complex travel flows.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers on APIs powering flights, hotels, dining, shopping, and miles transfers.
- Implement strong mobile security practices to protect authentication, payments, and customer data.
- Drive mobile product velocity, shipping fast while maintaining high UX and code quality standards.
- Contribute to overall product strategy and ensure mobile is a core growth and engagement channel.
Qualifications

- Strong experience building and shipping production-grade React Native applications.
