Role Summary
The Rental Sales Agent is responsible for providing outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and recommending suitable products and services. This role requires a proactive approach to customer engagement and a commitment to delivering a seamless rental experience. The position reports directly to the Branch Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience
- Process rental agreements, including opening and closing contracts accurately
- Meet monthly sales goals by effectively promoting additional services and products
- Handle incoming calls and manage reservation confirmations
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after rentals
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall branch efficiency
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (driver’s abstract required)
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-paced setting
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented, sales-focused mindset
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service

Work Schedule
- Second shift availability: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM or 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service is strongly preferred due to the customer-facing nature of the role
