Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a FedEx Ground delivery truck or van
- Deliver and pick up packages from homes and businesses around Madison and nearby areas
- Use GPS and route sheets to manage deliveries efficiently
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at each stop
- Load, unload, and handle packages (up to 75 lbs alone / 150 lbs with equipment)
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and your team
- Work safely in all weather conditions and maintain a clean driving record
Route Details
- Rural Routes: 50–75 stops per day
- Mixed Routes: 85–110 stops per day
- In-Town Routes: 110–160 stops per day
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Prior experience with FedEx, UPS, Amazon, DHL, or other delivery companies is a plus, but not required
