Join our team at Route 66 Pharmacy in the heart of Needles, California, a close-knit remote community where you can make a real difference We're seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Pharmacy Technician to support our retail pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Perform medication intake and verification processes.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and tracking medications
- Provide excellent customer service to patients in a retail pharmacy setting
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations
- Perform general pharmacy tasks, including prescription processing and organization.
- Monday - Friday 9am-5:30pm
REQUIREMENTS
- California Technician License
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Valid California Pharmacy Technician license
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care
- Ability to thrive in a small, remote town environment
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate patient care.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems Digital RX for medication management.
