Runner

Stateline Subaru is looking for a Part time Automotive Runner to assist us with our busy schedule. 

$15 to $18 an hour

POSITION SUMMARY   The Runner is a very versatile position in The Company.  This person will deliver intercompany mail from dealership to dealership within the course of a day.  This position also assists with parts deliveries, assists the service department as well as the sales department with valet and/or perter responsibilities. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Greet customers with a smile.
• Deliver intercompany mail from one dealership to another.
• Wash and vacuum customers vehicles and loaner vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain the Service and/or Sales Department parking area to allow customers easy access to the Service area.
• Park customer vehicles dropped off for repairs or estimates.
• Assist technicians in moving vehicles in and out of the shop area.
• Ensure all vehicles are secure and locked each night.
• Make management aware of any problems that arise on final inspection to ensure any problems are corrected prior to delivery of the vehicle to the customer.
• Deliver customer vehicles from parking lot to the cashier at time of pick up.
• Maintain the lot for service and sales vehicles
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of vehicles when needed.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.
• Conduct yourself professionally while in the workplace
• Treat each customer and co-worker with kindness and respect
• Other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Encourages a high work ethic by demonstrating appropriate and acceptable behavioral skills
• Reports to management any situation or condition that would jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its customers or employees.
• Maintains professional appearance and demeanor at all times, including work areas
• Complies with all Route 24 attendance policies
• Clean driving record
• Ability to drive standard and automatic vehicles
• Must have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and customer services skills, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff though-out the organization required.

CERTIFICATE/ LICENSE:  Valid Driver’s License
