$18.00 an hour Bonus

Qualifications
- Basic Computer and Telephone skills
- Parts Experience a plus
- Good Customer Service skills
- Maintain cleanliness of receiving area, trucks, loading area and facility
- Report any defects, problems, accidents or injuries to supervisor
- Strong teamwork skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

POSITION SUMMARY The Parts Driver delivers and picks up parts for Route 24 Auto Group customers, dealerships and vendors. This position is a representation of Route 24 Auto Group while out on the road and must always display exceptional communication skills as well as operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Picks up and delivers parts to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts and vendors.
- Checks with the appropriate parts personnel prior to leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries
- Delivers parts to body shop when needed and distributes to appropriate body technicians.
- Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick up. Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery
- Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups, requests recipient’s signature on each delivery entry
- Unloads truck each night; handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean and making sure required inspections are performed. Advises parts manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance
- Turns in all paperwork customers’ payments and undelivered parts
- Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
