- Build lasting relationships through excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct product demonstrations, upselling additional items or services to maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage pricing strategies effectively to meet sales targets while maintaining profitability.
- Coordinate automobile transportation and route driving for deliveries or client meetings, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
- Perform heavy lifting and merchandising tasks, ensuring products are displayed attractively and safely within retail environments.
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and route schedules for optimal efficiency.
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members, providing updates on deliveries, promotions, or product availability.
- Follow all safety protocols during heavy lifting, driving, and merchandising activities to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize organizational skills to plan daily routes efficiently, balancing commercial truck driving responsibilities with customer engagement.
Experience
- Previous retail store experience or customer service background is highly preferred.
- Experience in commercial driving or automobile transportation is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for pricing calculations and inventory management are essential.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling or cross-selling products/services effectively.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial truck driving is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for client relationship building and team collaboration.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices consistently.
- Organizational skills necessary for route planning, merchandising, and maintaining accurate records.
