What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Specialist position at Rousselot?
Summary: The Supply Chain Specialist assists in the coordination of all customer product requirements including entering sales orders, contract pricing, rebate schemes, sales reports. They will act as a liaison with customers and provide information, answer questions and resolve problems that our customers may face.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Receive and process incoming orders. Handle order revisions, cancellations, product returns or exchanges.
- Communicate with customers and sales staff about orders, delivery dates and any changes.
- Update sales forecast volumes and prices to ensure accurate forecasts.
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets with customer order information.
- Organize customer files and pertinent information.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Excel, word, power point)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 year College Degree
- Previous experience in Sales, Supply Chain, and/or Customer Service.
- Proven ability to create and maintain positive customer relationships.
