JOB RESPONSBILITIES
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. There will be long periods of standing and powdering. Must follow company established safety procedures and minimum vision standards, corrected or uncorrected, as follows: Snellen 14/18, 20/25 or better, Jaeger Type 2 at 14 inches, or Ortho-Rated 8. Last, but not least, for ITAR compliance, all employees at this location must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

The Powder Coat Technician will use powder coat application techniques and equipment to professionally finish machined surfaces
JOB RESPONSBILITIES
- Identify, order, and prepare powder, and related materials for production work.
- Prepare and inspect surfaces for powder coating, including removing prior finishes and correcting imperfections with body filler as needed.
- Mask and protect non-coated surfaces prior to application.
- Apply powder coatings using spray equipment and company-approved tools and processes.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with customer specifications.
- Complete production routers and maintain accurate labor, material, and time documentation.
- Follow chemical handling, waste disposal, and workplace safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Troubleshoot production issues, communicate concerns to supervisors, and support project completion, including extended shift hours when required.
