Job Overview
Roundup Building Center is a family-owned, full-service lumber yard that has proudly served Belle Fourche, the Black Hills, Wyoming, and Montana for over 35 years. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and dependable Yard Associate to join our team.
This position plays an important role in providing excellent customer service while assisting with daily yard operations.
Responsibilities
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Loading and unloading supplier trucks
- Loading and assisting contractors, homeowners, and customers with material purchases
- Preparing and organizing customer orders
- Operating forklifts and other yard equipment (training available)
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe yard
- Assisting customers with product locations and general questions
- Delivering materials throughout the Black Hills and into Wyoming
- Performing general yard maintenance and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Strong customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL is preferred, but not required
- Forklift experience is helpful, but not required
