About the Role

Compensation: $20 - $22 per hour Commissions 

(Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm On-call rotation

The groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance of our property. They will be required to perform a variety of tasks to ensure that the grounds, landscaping, and outdoor amenities are well-maintained and presentable to residents and visitors. 

Key Responsibilities

• Receive direction, priorities, and daily assignments from the Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor. 
• Conduct comprehensive daily inspections of the property to ensure all areas—including sidewalks, curbs, walkways, parking lots, and building exteriors—are clean, safe, and well-maintained. 
• Sweep and blow common areas, removing trash, debris, and pet waste as needed. 
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all community amenities, including courtyards, swimming pools, and outdoor grilling areas. 
• Assist with snow and ice removal during winter months. 
• Perform light maintenance duties such as replacing bulbs, touching up paint, and maintaining exterior surfaces. 
• Promptly report maintenance needs or safety concerns to the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. 
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure all materials are properly stored after use. 
• Follow all safety procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, operational SOPs, and equipment safety labels. 
• Uphold a professional demeanor and always represent the company positively. 
• Comply with OSHA standards and guidelines. 
• Regularly review maintenance software to monitor and complete assigned groundskeeping tasks in a timely manner. 
• Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of work. 

Requirements

• Valid driver's license 
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, team-player.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions.
