Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units. Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals to determine appropriate solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and brazing equipment for repairs and installations.
- Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects involving HVAC design and installation.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about system performance and necessary repairs.
- Keep accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HVAC/R.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC field or related mechanical fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction or property maintenance.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems, plumbing, and appliance repair is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC design and electrical systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting equipment repair issues using various tools and techniques.
- Valid driver's license required; must be able to travel to job sites as needed.
