We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking a tired house and turning it into a clean, solid, functional home that another family will be proud to live in.

This is not production framing on new construction.

This is renovation.

Every house is different.
Every day presents a new challenge.
You’ll need to think, adapt, and build.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems—not just following instructions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Interior remodeling
• Carpentry and trim work
• Flooring
• Doors and windows
• Drywall repairs
• Painting and finish work
• Basic demolition and rebuilding
• General repairs and improvements
• Creating material lists before projects begin
• Managing tools and keeping an organized work area

You probably enjoy looking at an old house and immediately seeing possibilities.

You don’t panic when something isn’t square, level, or standard.

Instead, you ask,

“What’s the smartest way to solve this?”

You understand that every repair deserves the right amount of effort.

You know the difference between:

• something that affects the long-term integrity of the house and must be corrected,
• and something cosmetic that can be finished professionally without unnecessary time or expense.

You respect quality.

But you also understand efficiency.

Our goal isn’t perfection.

Our goal is building solid homes that are safe, attractive, durable, and completed on time.

This Position Is Probably A Good Fit If You…

• Have solid carpentry experience.
• Can work independently most of the day.
• Can organize your own work.
• Can create accurate material lists.
• Take ownership instead of waiting for someone to tell you every next step.
• Enjoy finding creative solutions.
• Care for tools and equipment.
• Communicate honestly.
• Leave projects better than you found them.

This Position Is Probably NOT A Good Fit If You…

• Need constant supervision.
• Wait for detailed instructions before moving forward.
• Become discouraged when projects don’t go according to plan.
• Have trouble finishing projects.
• Leave tools and materials disorganized.
• Believe every project needs showroom perfection regardless of cost or timeline.

How We Work

You’ll have a great deal of independence.

Most days we’ll spend about 30 minutes together reviewing priorities, discussing challenges, and setting objectives.

After that, you’ll own the day.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys that level of responsibility.

What Success Looks Like

At the end of the year…

Several older houses have been transformed into clean, dependable homes.

Projects stay moving.

Materials are managed wisely.

Problems are solved before they become expensive.

And people trust your judgment because you consistently make good decisions.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
